The club’s recent announcement of the exclusive teamwear partnership with Italian brand Macron is a big step forward in helping to push the already recognised Manchester Futsal Club brand even further and will allow fans and followers from Manchester and around the world to get hold of the club’s team wear and merchandise.
Speaking of the long-term deal Club Chairman Simon Wright outlined what the partnership will bring; ‘Macron are a recognised and quality assured teamwear brand. They already have a number of high level clients in football and futsal.
The key thing for us is that they really want to support the club to grow futsal and for Manchester to continue to lead from the front. We believe they can offer the very best service to our fans in accessing Manchester Futsal Club team wear’.
Company Director of Macron Store Manchester Peter Hickford is delighted to bring Manchester into the Macron Family; ‘We are delighted to have secured a Technical Teamwear partnership with Manchester Futsal Club. I hope that the partnership will not only help Macron Store Manchester North in getting its name known across the Manchester sports scene, but provide MFC with quality teamwear and a local and efficient service.
Whilst supporting the First Team with their Teamwear requirements in the FA National Futsal Super League, we also want to ensure the entire club, development centres and supporters have a full range of club teamwear they can wear with pride.
Being a supporter of futsal as a sport in its own right, as well as a sport to support the development of young football players, I hope to link MFC with as many of our local Macron sponsored clubs as possible as well as other Macron sponsored futsal clubs across Europe’ .
Hickford was also optimistic of the future growth of futsal in England;‘I can see Futsal continuing to evolve over the coming years and am excited to be involved with one of the biggest Futsal clubs in the country with exciting plans and ambition’.
The launch of the new Manchester Futsal Club home and away strips at the recent Manchester International Futsal Tournament was a fitting stage to show off the new look to the fans in attendance;
‘I think the players and supporters really like the new look and feel to the new kits. We’ve had lots of enquiries already and we’re now preparing to launch the new on-line club shop where everyone will be able to pick up the same shirt that the senior Manchester lads will be wearing this season but also purchase a range of excellent branded club merchandise’ commented Wright.
