Sergi Saldana has told ManchesterFutsal.com that the players must focus on their attitude on and off the court in order to have any form of success this season.
The Spaniard was pleased after his team's 5-2 victory over Loughborough Futsal Club last time out but re-emphasised the important that his side keeps their focus and their game time intensity.
Saldana confirmed that Doug Reed will return from injury and is likely to feature in their next game against York City FC Futsal but Raducio King still faces a little longer on the sidelines as he recovers from injury that was sustained while playing in Premier Futsal in India for Bengaluru Royals.
Speaking to ManchesterFutsal.com, the Barcelona-born coach is wary of the opposition going into Sunday's game, but is confident in his players that Manchester can get a positive result.
"We are going into the match in the correct way for my liking, but only because the fact we won last week, there is still change that needs to happen. We have to continue with the same eagerness and intensity that we played against Loughborough."
York have some very good players that move the ball across the court very well and we have to be aware of that. Their fly-keeper tactic has proven to be dangerous this season and is a key factor as to why they have got through their first two games unbeaten."
"The game against Loughborough was good and I am happy because we got our first 3 points but we have to think inkeep moving forward and take one game at a time. Some days we will win and some we will lose, it is all about our attitude and the way we set ourselves up mentally everytime we step out on that court as a unit, attitude is key to success in futsal."
