Manchester Futsal Club are delighted to announce that an award of £1000 has been made to the MFC Youth Programme by Forever Manchester.
The community charity has recognised Manchester Futsal for our efforts in helping young players develop and its commitment towards the grassroots game and we have been generously rewarded for the dedication from the coaches, players and volunteers across our Futsal Club.
Our pledge towards community building and bringing people together in the form of futsal will not change and we will continue to grow and spread the message about our great sport.
The funding that was gained by Manchester Futsal Club is called the “NOMA Community Fund”, according to Forever Manchester’s website, “the NOMA Fund offers awards of up to £1,000 to grassroots community organisations working with young people aged between 11 and 25 years old. Activity needs to be taking place and supporting those who live within the boundary of the M60 motorway.”
Our Chairman of Manchester Futsal Club Simon Wright has made the following statement on Forever Manchester’s investment, "it is clearly great news to receive this week from Forever Manchester that we have been successful with the NOMA funding bid. Our Youth Programme continues to go from strength to strength and is a central pillar of the club which our dedicated staff are committed to building for the future."
Manchester Futsal Club would like to go on record and thank Forever Manchester for their generousity, and also everyone associated with our great club for making this fantastic achievement possible, and that everyone’s continued support with us will mean more investment into our hopes and dreams into building a movement and grow our futsal community not just across Manchester, but the United Kingdom as a whole.
